Description
Overview A potent antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacterial fatty acid synthesis by selectively targeting Fabl encoded enoyl-acyl carrier protein (ACP) reductase. A slow-binding inhibitor that forms a stable ternary complex (bsFabl.NAD+.triclosan) in Bacillus subtilis.
