Cosmosil 800 is obtained from the fruit kernels of the tree, Shorea Robusta by physical extraction. Subsequently the butter is carefully refined, bleached, and deodorized to obtain a product which meets the stringent requirements for cosmetic applications. This product can be incorporated in high quantities. It gives stable emulsions due to the uniform triglyceride composition with a high oxidative stability. |
